Turkey & Rice Recipe

MERA Pure Sensitive Goody Snacks feature turkey and rice, creating a simple and appealing flavour combination for dogs.

Turkey provides an animal-based ingredient, while rice provides a familiar carbohydrate source. Together, they create a convenient snack option that can be used alongside a dog's regular complete diet.

Suitable for Sensitive Feeding Routines

Dogs with sensitive dietary requirements may benefit from having their food and treats carefully selected.

The Pure Sensitive range is designed with sensitive nutrition in mind, making these snacks a convenient option for owners who want a treat that fits into a carefully managed feeding routine.

However, dogs with diagnosed food allergies or dogs undergoing a veterinary elimination diet should only receive treats approved by their veterinarian.

Training & Reward Treat

MERA Goody Snacks can be used as a practical reward during training.

Small treats can help reinforce desired behaviours such as:

Basic obedience
Recall training
Leash training
Positive social behaviour
New commands
Good behaviour at home
Puppy or adult dog training

Treats should be given immediately after the desired behaviour to help the dog associate the reward with the action.

Everyday Rewarding

These snacks can also be used outside formal training sessions.

They are suitable for occasional rewards, enrichment activities or simply giving your dog a small treat during the day.

Because treats contribute to the dog's total daily calorie intake, portions should be kept appropriate and the main complete food should remain the foundation of the diet.

Complementary Treat

MERA Pure Sensitive Goody Snacks are a complementary snack, not a complete replacement for your dog's normal food.

They should be fed alongside a complete and balanced diet and should not replace regular meals.

When giving multiple treats throughout the day, reduce the main food portion where appropriate to help maintain a healthy body condition.

Feeding Guide

Feed MERA Pure Sensitive Goody Snacks Turkey & Rice as an occasional treat or training reward.

The appropriate amount depends on:

Dog's size
Body weight
Activity level
Daily calorie intake
Number of other treats received
Individual dietary requirements

Use treats in moderation and follow any feeding guidance printed on the current packaging.

Always provide fresh, clean drinking water.

Sensitive-Diet Feeding Information

If your dog is following a specific sensitive or veterinary diet, introduce treats carefully.

For dogs with diagnosed food allergies, ingredient intolerances or dogs participating in a controlled elimination diet, additional treats should only be provided when confirmed as appropriate by your veterinarian.

Even a small amount of an unapproved food can interfere with a controlled dietary programme.
